Human Performance

The body is
the strategy.

I translate what the body knows into leadership that lasts, moving organisations from chronic pressure to performance capacity that compounds over time.

I work with leaders who are ambitious, wildly capable, and know they cannot keep sacrificing their health for their career.

A shock resignation from a key leader in the team, no notice to plug the gap. Sick leave days that don't tell the whole story, papering over the cracks in human capacity.

I deliver the strategy, your body, as the endless resource to grow and compound your capacity, so leaders want to stay, thriving in the satisfaction of a job well done, instead of reaching for an exit strategy just to stay afloat.

That's what plugs the drain of attrition, presenteeism, and sickness absence, now at a 15-year high (CIPD, 2025).

For leaders who want to feel resourced, think clearly, and lead in a way that gets the best from themselves and the people around them.

For leaders and HR Directors who want to excel without sacrificing their health, leading their teams from surplus, not survival, rather than spending their energy firefighting problems that never seem to resolve.

For leaders

Leaders move from foggy, scrambled thinking to a clear head, prioritising and delegating with ease. Their brilliant skills finally have room to be showcased.

For teams

Stronger engagement, better communication, and the kind of trust that allows high performance to become a culture rather than a demand.

For organisations

Retention stops being a recruitment problem. Your best people stay, not because of incentives, but because they can feel the difference.

"It wasn't my body holding me back. It was overriding it."

I'm Amy Attfield, a Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Coach, and founder of Body of Communication, built to bring lived and clinical experience of working with our bodies, not against them, into the workplace. I saw the same pattern again and again in clinic, talented people burnt out by their work, and I've lived it myself, my own burnout, and a long, complicated postpartum recovery.

Over 15 years working clinically and with high-performing individuals, I developed frameworks including Body Maps™ and Body Collaboration, bringing clinical physiology directly into leadership and organisational life.
